Amanda Perkowski is a Grand Prix dressage rider and international competitor with a deep commitment to developing horses and riders with patience, precision, and care.

With experience ranging from young horses to the international FEI arena, Amanda is known for her thoughtful training, attention to detail, and genuine connection with each horse. Her goal is to produce confident, supple, and happy athletes β€” equine and human β€” and to build lasting partnerships that thrive in and out of the show arena.

Amanda has spent the past seven years training under Olympic bronze medalist Allison Brock, with additional experience alongside Olympian Lendon Gray and young horse specialist Dr. Ulf MΓΆller. Her education is rooted in classical principles and modern sport horse development. Amanda is experienced in introducing piaffe and passage β€” both in-hand and under saddle β€” and has a particular passion for guiding young horses through the levels.

Equally dedicated to rider development, Amanda enjoys mentoring juniors, young professionals, and high-performance hopefuls, while also finding deep fulfillment in teaching committed adult amateurs.

β€œAmanda’s talent as a rider is surpassed only by her poise and kindness to both her clients and her horses. She is equally unflappable on a horse as she is while teaching. Her calm demeanor as she imparts her vast knowledge is firm, yet always supportive. Her uncanny ability to intuit issues gives her riders the advantage of making corrections expediently. Amanda’s training is impeccable and my horse is more balanced and supple as her has moved up the levels. After being injured, I didn’t ride for two months. She kept my boy in top shape and when I did get back in the saddle, her patience and genuine care in helping rebuild my confidence and improve my position, have been invaluable. She is as devoted to her clients as she is to her riding success; a rare trait in the dressage world. ”

β€œAmanda embodies a rare combination of poise, drive, empathy, and conviction of character which beautifully complement her obvious talent and feel. I met her as an ambitious working student for Allison Brock seven years ago. This past year she has trained a talented mare of mine and I have been so impressed by their evolution together. Her horses trust her everyday and give her their best. It’s beautiful to behold. ”
